That's what I do...

™Twizzy:
Oh cool
™Twizzy:
What kind of music ?

•SMOCKiZZY:
Yea..I really do any kind/genre of music as my inspiration box somewhere up there allows..but my major is Rap/hip hop..I jump on any afro beat & do a killing though
(laughs)...

™Twizzy:
(Smiles)..Oh cool
How many tracks have u recorded?

•SMOCKiZZY:
Uhh...roughly over 10..but so far I have released 4..according to their relevance & points I wanted to prove...since I advocate for #Good music these four were chosen to be released on that note too from eg "Hit it big" to "Am Dope" etc

™Twizzy:
Oh cool!

•SMOCKiZZY:
Yea

™Twizzy:
Which producer do you work with?
™Twizzy:
Or how many producers have u worked with?

•SMOCKiZZY:
Ok nice question...well I have worked with a couple of producers...you won't necessarily tag them as the popular ones but they are young guys who knows what it does..in the business..I have worked with producers under signature ent in awka to Dr cliq who was once under fire flames in A-town too..but currently I'm working with Sisley..a rising dope producer from owerri..so
I have worked with like 3 producers so far on my personal projects

™Twizzy:Oh cool!
™Twizzy:

™Twizzy:What are your inspirations and role models?

•SMOCKiZZY:
Well my inspiration is um..its from God actually..God gave the talent which am forever grateful he did & equally glad I discovered it as early as possible to be doing what I do now...my other inspiration is the society...the struggle on the street..the talents I do encounter on a daily basis inspires me too..my role models?? I don't really have one specifically...but I do have many people I look up to especially their good works around..

Other times I just sit to the mirror & freestyle or write songs
SMOCKiZZY:
(Smiles)

™Twizzy:
OH cool
How do you deal with fans' especially female ones

•SMOCKiZZY:
(Laughing)..yea nice question...
™Twizzy:
Yh
 •SMOCKiZZY:
Well as I've said earlier I do make out time to interact with the fans on facebook,twitter,etc...and female fans constitute to a large %(percentage) of my fan base(Team smockizzy)..so I try to stay neutral with all of them & still be their loving & favorite artist they want me to be..but a times many of them push for something else..how I handle that?? Let's leave that out of the news for now ...
™Twizzy:
Oh cool..nice answer(smiles)

•SMOCKiZZY:
Yessir!

™Twizzy:
What should your fans expect from you

•SMOCKiZZY:
Well as it is now, I alerted my fans to something..you know projects have been embarked on,a good part of them for the year have been accomplished but its never complete if my loving fans aren't giving a chance to have a say on what next they want from me..so I gave them the chance to share their minds/thoughts & most of them were requesting a new song from me..which should be the last solo single I will drop in 2013..so that's what I'm working on...they should also expect some touring & live performances too..cos as a family;Team smockizzy we tour along as a fam & shut down the city as a team.Equally some videos & dope singles up next too

Not long after Wande Coal releases a new track called Baby Face, Don Jazzy took to twitter to acuse him of copyright infringement.
To convince the world, Don Jazzy put up a link to a sample of the same song with the same lyrics and same tune on soundcloud. You’ve got to agree there’s no way Don Jazzy could form all that up and produce in such twinkling of an eye.
Anyways, who ever owns the copyright is not our business. We at LetsGist.com have decided to bring you the two songs and hope you decide who presents it better.

Details of the Monday/Tuesday marathon meeting between President Goodluck Jonathan and the leadership of the Academic Staff Union of Universities have begun to emerge.

“The meeting should be the longest that we have ever had on this crisis but I can tell you that both parties were frank all through the discussions. “The parties also showed commitment towards ending the crisis. The President in particular showed that he was serious about ending the strike and that was why he offered to release over N1tn to the universities in the next five years.”

Punch gathered on Tuesday evening that a key component of the agreement reached by the parties was that the Federal Government would inject N1.1tn into public universities in the next five years.A reliable source, who made this known, also hinted that the strike would be called off anytime next week.
He said the government team which was led by President Goodluck Jonathan would release N220bn yearly into the sector beginning from 2014.The source added, “The money will be released on a yearly basis at N220bn per annum beginning from 2014. For the outgoing year, the government will only release N100bn and this has been processed.”

He said that the government, in order to show its commitment to a fresh pact, accepted that “the fund (N1.1tn) should domiciled at the Central Bank of Nigeria”“The money will be released on a quarterly basis to the universities. So, there won’t be any problem about funding the deal,” the source said.

The National Universities Commission and the Trade Union Congress, according to him, are  joint guarantors of the agreement while the Minister of Education will be the implementation officer. The source said that the government agreed among other things, to revamp the public universities by ensuring that all those issues that always led to strike were dealt with once and for all.It was learnt that the negotiating team of ASUU led by Dr. Nassir Faggae met on Tuesday to further deliberate on the deal.
We gathered  the ASUU team have reached an agreement to take the deal offered by Jonathan and that they will meet the larger ASUU caucus by weekend to agree and end the strike.
